As someone who works in quality assurance, you provide an invaluable service to importers and exporters of fruit by assessing the quality of this fresh produce as it arrives. To them, it is hugely important that the quality of this fresh produce deteriorates as little as possible during the logistics process.
THE COURSE: A BRIEF SUMMARY
Temperature control (cooling and heating) and an unbroken cool chain are by and far the most important methods to guarantee the quality of fruit. The ‘Quality assurance and on-the-job experience’ course covers the entire inspection process, including transport and temperature control checks. On top of that, the overall quality control process and the product itself are also covered.
The course is delivered by leading professionals in the field. Based on their everyday practical experience, they will run you through several examples and issues from real-life practice on top of sharing in-depth knowledge. You will then get the chance to apply the knowledge you’ve gained on the job, as you’ll be inspecting a container full of fruit while it is being unloaded!

Location
The course will take place at the Fruit Tech Campus in Geldermalsen. For the on-the-job inspection element, we will be visiting two practical locations where you’ll be inspecting containers as they are being unloaded!
Certificate
Once you have completed the course, you will receive a ‘Quality assurance and on-the-job experience’ certificate from Fruit Tech Campus powered by HDG Academy.
